What does it feel like to be in love?

I know I shouldn't be asking this question since I'm a guy I know it makes me sound soft but I almost lost my life last saturday night. It has really made me reconsider the things I want in my life I really want to find the right girl for me. I just want to know what it feels like since I've never had it before. Does it feel like having a childhood best friend all over again?
