Who will win the college football national championship and why?

i personally think that michigan will upset usc in a rematch of the rose bowl. other top teams i have are texas, LSU, florida, virginia tech, west virginia. usc doesn't have the easiest schedule, but they are clearly better than every team that they will face in the regular season. michigan has a few tough games, most notebly at wisconsin, but notre dame, penn state, ohio state, and oregon must come to ann arbor. Lloyd carr will win the national title then retire. perfect ending. its been ten years since U-M has won the national title. i think that they'll win it this year, but just wanna know what other people think.
