Was it right of him to do this?

I went to counceling yesterday and they said to count when I get angry because it helps. Today somebody made me really mad so I was counting on the phone to 100. He told me he would block my number about 5 times but I didnt listen (as always) and he got really mad so i started practicing my french alphabet over and over again and he got mad once again. He put his dad on the phone with me and his dad told me "We are blocking your number. Listen next time." and they just hung up. I tried to call back to apologize about an hour ago but it said the person i was trying to reach has blah blah blah...some big words (not profanity if thats what ur thinkin lol) He blocked my number!!!!! Was this right?! After all my counceler told me to count when im angry....
