IUD and a delayed period?

I had my IUD taken out on 3/19. I had a day or two of spotting on 3/21-3/22 then nothing. Since then I have had no period. I have had some twinges in my abdomen like when I am ovulating. I have also had a few episodes of severe pain that is more of a shooting pain through my feminine area. I have had frequeint urination, mood swings to the point of crying for no reason, headaches, and backaches. No real nausea though I seem to be more suceptable to heart burn lately and very tired. I took a 3 hour nap after sleeping 9 hours!! I have taken three pregnancy tests and they have all been negative. It is also important to note that my last period was on 3/3 and with the IUD in place I always had some sort of a period even if ver light. I called the doc and they said to just wait and my symptoms are probably just pms... that was over a week ago. Anybody have an experience like this? Any ideas? I had the IUD just shy of two years and it was the mirena with progesterin.
