Am i reading the signs right?

this guy i know is lately more attentive towards me,it had me puzzled at first because we have know each other for nearly a year.he is giving me loads of eye contact,holding my gaze for ages,he always teases me about silly little things,find any excuse to touch me,calls me angel or sometimes even baby!he tells me little secrets that he doesn't tell anyone else,whenever i am down he always asks if i need a hug.i was having money troubles and he lent me the cash to help me out,no questions asked!!am i reading the signs right,does he like me?or am i just seeing what i want to see???
